Before the storm, the rescue service in Blekinge had gone into staff mode and called in extra management resources to distribute the forces. Most forces were sent to Karlskrona and Rödeby to deal with water-filled basements.
The rest of the county has fared better, says the emergency services’ alarm operator.
During Monday, work is underway to manage the high water flow.
