The driver himself initially admits that they are his cigarettes and that he intends to sell them in Stockholm. And this is something that shocks Thomas and his colleagues, as most are far from honest.
– People aren’t usually this honest, it doesn’t happen. It’s more that you lie until the end, even though it’s completely obvious. So he should have all the prestige because he is so honest, explains Thomas.

The driver has admitted that he tried to smuggle upwards of 5,000 cigarettes, but when customs go through the rest of the car, it turns out that the man wasn’t actually being completely honest. Customs finds even more cigarettes and also a large amount of beer. It is also wrapped in black plastic.
– He was not as honest as you thought, says a colleague of Thomas.
– I feel a bit snobbish. I believed that he was telling the truth, says Thomas in the program.
The suspect then also admits to smuggling the beer. The man can kindly hand over the nearly 10,000 cigarettes, and all the beer he had with him.
