Budweiser extends its agreement with FIFA. The new agreement with Ab Inbev, which owns Budweiser, makes the beer brand the official World Cup beer for the next two World Cups: the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand this summer and the Men’s World Cup in North America in 2026.

Budweiser would also have been the official World Cup beer in Qatar last winter, but just days before the opening match, Fifa stopped beer sales at the World Cup stadiums.

“Following discussions between authorities in the host country and Fifa, it has been decided to focus on non-alcoholic beverages at the Fifa Fan Festival, other supporter areas and official stadiums,” the International Football Confederation wrote in a statement.
