The stop should have started around 18:00 on Sunday.
The stop affects the routes Söderhamn-Sundsvall, Stockholm-Sundsvall/Umeå and Stockholm-Gävle. There are high water flows in Gnarp which means that the traffic cannot go that way, and the trains will be diverted for the rest of the day.
– But there will be a four-five hour delay for some trains, there are no buses that can replace them, says Ronny Hörstrand at SJ’s press service.
Train traffic has been running at a reduced speed throughout Sunday.
– Tomorrow morning at the earliest, we will know what it looks like for tomorrow, says Ronny Hörstrand.
