Stop Using Vinegar Theres an Easier Way to Clean Oven

More effective than white vinegar, this product cleans the oven window in just 3 minutes!

Cleaning your oven door can be a real pain. Food and grease splatters can bake into the surface and turn into stubborn stains. This dreaded chore is often put off, making the job even more difficult. No matter how much you scrub, the stains won’t budge. Many people turn to white vinegar to solve this problem, but did you know there’s an even simpler, easier, and more effective method?

Vinegar is often recommended for household cleaning tasks because of its degreasing and disinfecting properties. However, it is not always the best product for certain surfaces, such as the oven door. In fact, while vinegar is effective against certain dirt, it can be lacking in power against burnt and encrusted grease residue.

Baking soda, on the other hand, is a gentle, effective and easy-to-use alternative. It is able to remove the most stubborn stains without scratching or damaging the surface of the oven glass. It is the ideal solution for cleaning the oven door effortlessly.

Mix a few tablespoons of baking soda with water to form a thick paste. Spread this paste over the entire surface of the oven door, focusing on the dirtiest areas. Let the paste sit for 15 to 30 minutes. During this time, the baking soda will absorb the grease and loosen the encrusted residue. Using a damp sponge, gently rub the surface. You will see that the dirt comes off easily. If necessary, use a plastic spatula or a stiff card to remove the pieces of encrusted grease, without scratching the glass. Finally, rinse the oven door with a clean, damp cloth to remove the baking soda residue.

Another solution is to pour hot water on the oven window, then sprinkle baking soda on it to cover it. Then, just let it sit for 30 seconds, then crumple up a ball of aluminum foil and rub the window in circular motions for 1 to 2 minutes. The grease will come off easily. Finally, simply remove the residue with a clean damp cloth. In three minutes, you’re done!
