After the fatal shooting in Christiania in Copenhagen at the end of August, the city’s mayor Sophie Hæstorp Andersen is now urging foreign visitors not to buy hash on Pusher Street.
“It may seem innocent to buy hashish for a party night in town, but keep in mind that your money ends up in the hands of criminal gangs,” she says in a press release.
Hæstorp Andersen wants to contribute to starting a resistance movement in civil society against Pusher Street.
