– In the last two days, students and staff have fallen ill with stomach-like symptoms, says Camilla Brolin, head of department for elementary schools in Skövde, to the radio.
There are not enough teachers to be able to carry out teaching, she states.
What caused the stomach ailment is not yet clear, but the local infection control will take samples and investigate the matter.
The symptoms are described on the municipality’s website as vomiting, stomachache, diarrhea and some cases of fever and chills. The school has students in grades F–6.
