Stoltenberg: NATO reacts if Sweden is threatened

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Sweden is much safer now than before the application for membership in NATO. This applies even if Finland is approved as a member before Sweden, according to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

– It is inconceivable that Sweden would be exposed to military threats during the accession phase without NATO reacting, says Stoltenberg at the security conference in Munich.

– Sweden is closely integrated into NATO’s military and civilian structures and is becoming more and more so. It is not that nothing has happened, says Stoltenberg.
