On X (formerly known as Twitter) stated Jens Stoltenberg in a post that he met Erdogan in New York, USA. In addition to measures against terrorism, Sweden’s NATO application was also discussed.
In his post, Stoltenberg put pressure on President Erdogan regarding Turkey’s approval of Sweden’s NATO application.
“As agreed in Vilnius, Turkey must take up Sweden’s NATO membership as soon as possible,” wrote Jens Stoltenberg on X.
