Sarnia police says they’re looking for someone alleged to have driven a stolen dump truck pulling a mini excavator on trailer through the fence of a Scott Road work yard on the weekend.

Sarnia police says they’re looking for someone alleged to have driven a stolen dump truck pulling a mini excavator on trailer through the fence of a Scott Road work yard on the weekend.

Police said that sometime between 4 pm Saturday and 8 am Monday someone entered the yard in the 200 block of Scott Road in the city. The suspect is alleged to have gained access to the dump truck and trailer holding the excavator and then broke out of the locked yard by smashing through the fence.

Police said they’re looking for a single axel dump truck with a white cab and the number 535 faded on the side of a blue box. The license plate number is AK10177.

The missing 2022 Bobcat Mini-Excavator is white with orange lettering and was on a double axel gray trailer with numerous buckets attached and ramps at the back. Its license plate number is L5634R.
