At around 2 p.m., the police received a call from a person who had been robbed of his bicycle in Ronneby.
With the help of a surveillance camera, the owner was able to see the thief steal the bike from the garage and ride away.
At the same time that the bicycle owner was talking to the police on the phone, another alarm call came in to the police about a traffic accident on the same street as the burglary. It was a motorist who stated that a cyclist ran into his car.
The signal elements were consistent with the man captured on the surveillance camera in the garage. The man, who is in his 40s, has now been arrested on suspicion of theft.
