Over two nights, the thieves raided Lindex’s warehouse.

Three containers were stolen – one of which contained 26,900 copies of the same lace bra.

Now three men are charged with aggravated robbery, reports GP.

The brazen underwear coup was discovered last spring.

One morning in March, a Lindex manager discovered that three containers of clothing were missing from the company’s warehouse in Partille.

– There were almost 26,900 pieces of the same lace bra in one container, the Lindex manager has said in questioning according to GP.

Caught on film

The nighttime coup was caught on surveillance video. There you can see how a truck drives into the fenced area and connects to a trailer with a container on it.

The thieves had gained entry by sawing off the shackle of the gate on which the padlock is attached.

The next night the same thing happened. In total, children’s and women’s clothing with a value of between SEK 33 and 35 million was stolen.

Was going to Belgium and Dubai

Via GPS transmitters on the trailers, the transport company was able to find the containers – abandoned and empty. One was in a wooded area in Lerum.

After a tip, large parts of the stolen goods were later found in a warehouse in Kållered.

There were lots of boxes marked with Lindex. But also several boxes of Ellos clothes.

The total value of the goods was SEK 39 million.

– This would probably be sold abroad, says District Attorney Viktor Törneke to GP.

According to information, the clothes were to be shipped to Dubai and Belgium.

The explanation: Goes to auctions on the weekends

Now three men are charged with aggravated robbery. According to the prosecutor, two of them acquired, stored and transported the stolen goods. The third must have stored and ordered further transport.

All three deny wrongdoing. One has claimed in questioning that he bought everything.

– We go to auctions on Saturday or Sunday. You can buy by the kilo from Lindex or H&M. How would we know if it is stolen goods or real goods with a receipt.
