Stina Nilsson’s serious words – now opening up about the forbidden at the side of the ski tracks: “It’s really sad”

Stina Nilsson had a terrible comeback at the World Cup.
There has also been trouble at the side of the ski tracks recently.
– I think it’s really boring, Stina admits to Expressen.

Last Friday did Stina Nilsson long-awaited comeback to the World Cup after a three-month absence. In the meantime, she has been competing in the IBU Cup, which is the level below, waiting for her chance again.

Stina’s nightmare

But the return to the highest level was not at all what she had hoped for. The distance race in Holmenkollen, Norway, became a pure nightmare for the Swede who skated on nine hurdles and finished 78th out of 84 runners who came to the start.

While she is fighting to reach the top of the world in biathlon, there is also a battle on the side of the ski tracks. A legal battle for justice, to end fake articles about her on social media.

Nilsson’s message

During the beginning of February, Nilsson put her foot down properly, after her face was used for spam articles on Facebook.
“The matter has been reported to the police, so now I hope they have the resources to get to the bottom of it! I would also be very grateful if you would help report these articles when they appear in your Facebook feed,” Stina wrote in a post on Instagram.

A month later, Stina Nilsson gives new information about the police case.
– I think it has gone quite well, the articles seem to have disappeared. When it happened I thought it was very sad. And I think it’s a boring development in how the internet works, says the 30-year-old to Expressen.
– I just want to urge people to continue reporting articles to the police, I think there are new ones about other people. I don’t want anyone to be able to make money like that and use someone else’s name for this purpose.

Fooling the Swedes

Stina Nilsson is just one of many Swedish celebrities who have been affected by inappropriate behavior on social media. Where their faces and names are used to cheat Swedes out of money.

The Swedish biathlete is happy that her fake articles have disappeared, but she would rather see this mischief stop altogether.
– Great, of course. But then I don’t want them to exist at all, she says to the evening newspaper.
