Stina Nilsson was well on her way to a good placement in the EC premiere in Lenzerheide.
Then she shot four misses, and finished in 47th place.
– I have to take the consequences, says Nilsson to SVT Sport.
Stina Nilsson was tapped from the squad that goes to Oberhof to open the Biathlon World Cup on February 8. Instead, the Swede got the chance to assert herself in the EC premiere in Switzerland and Lenzerheide on Wednesday. But it didn’t go as planned.
Stina self-critical

– I’m not satisfied with how I completed the last stand, obviously, and would have done differently if I had to do it over, says Stina Nilsson to SVT Sport.

Stina Nilsson continues:
– I only change position after four shots and then I set it. If I had only been able to stop after two booms, the damage could have been repaired a little more. But now I made that decision and have to take the consequences and penalty minutes for it.
