Stina Nilsson has had a lead-heavy season so far.
The biathlon European Championship was also a big disappointment for the Swede.
Now she opens up with her first words about the new miscalculation.

Many had hopes for Stina Nilsson ahead of this fourth season of his new career as a biathlete. She also got the chance directly in the World Cup to be able to take the next step to reach the top of the world.

Criticism of Stina

But it was a very tough start to the winter with the first two World Cup races resulting in an 84th place and a 69th place. This caused the national team management to act and Nilsson was sent down to the IBU Cup, where she has been ever since.

The 30-year-old has been forced to endure harsh criticism from experts and critics, where the great concern has been directed at her skiing. The former world champion in cross-country skiing has been unrecognizable this season.

Nilsson disappointed

Recently, she was also poked from the Biathlon World Championships and therefore had the chance to find her self-confidence during the Biathlon European Championships. But even there Stina failed to live up to expectations and it was another disappointment for the Swede.

Nilsson came in 19th place in the distance race, 26th in the sprint, 32nd in the pursuit start and thus she was not selected for the mixed relay. In all races, she impressed with her ride times, but it was the shooting that ruined her chances for top positions.
