Stina Nilsson has been successful since she switched sports from biathlon to long race.
Now many people wonder if she should not start competing in traditional skiing again, as she did before.
Stina herself gives a clear answer to what she really wants to do in the future.
As cross -country skiers won Stina Nilsson31, two World Cup golds, one Olympic gold and 23 individual competitions in the World Cup. During her nine seasons at the ultimate elite level, she made herself known as one of the world’s best sprinters.
Stina Nilsson’s fine start in Ski Classics
As a biathlon, she did not make the same being. After four years-where one European bronze, four SM medals and two pallet seats in the World Cup were her main qualifications-she again chose to change sports. – I had a lot of respect for Ski Classics because I knew the girls are very strong. I am satisfied with the summer training. But another summer with training will do good for me. Many Swedes wonder if Stina should not start competing in traditional cross -country skiing again now that things are going so well for her. The five -mile at the World Cup in Trondheim had suited her well. But not everyone is as convinced.
– You should never say never, but there are many other Swedish ladies that she struggles to get the chance to even compete, said Therese Johaug Recently to Nettavisen.
– It’s probably a little exaggerated. I think she mainly trains for long races. It is good because she delivers there, but in terms of capacity she is not at the top level yet, says Petter Northug to the same newspaper.

– I have a two -year contract with Team Ragde Charge so I will compete for them next year. I have no plans to change teams, she replies then.
