Stina Nilsson is together with Emil Nykvist
It has been written and talked about for several years about the number of couples that come from winter sports. The couples cross national borders and exchange partners with each other. Some of the couples in the winter sports national team are Stina Nilsson and her boyfriend Emil Nykvist.
But who is Emil Nykvist? Nykvist is, as previously mentioned, a winter athlete – more precisely, he is a biathlete. Nykvist debuted in the World Cup in 2021 and has participated in the Biathlon World Cup in 2023 in Oberhof.

During the summer wrote News24 that Nykvist and Nilsson lived in a bus, how is that? The couple renovated a van to make it livable – and then hit the road. The construction project was documented on the couple’s social media.

Stina Nilsson changes sports – again. This time it is to longer distances of cross-country skiing that Nilsson makes his shift. In an interview with Expressen, Nykvist comments on Nilsson’s switch from biathlon.
– She really does what she wants to do and not what someone else wants her to do. And so it has always been. She does what she feels like doing for the day.
He goes on to say:
– It’s probably partly sad that we’re not in the same place, you can’t say anything else about that. But at the same time, she does what she wants and feels good about it, and that makes me feel good about it too.
He goes into the advice he can get from his girlfriend:
– She is the best at what we do, so it has been a great help for me to have her.
