After three long months in the IBU Cup got Stina Nilsson finally the chance at the world cup again. But the comeback in Holmenkollen on Friday was not at all what she had hoped for.
Nilsson’s nightmare
The 30-year-old had a complete nightmare day in the distance race and was noted for nine misses in the shooting range.

Nilsson finally finished in 78th place out of 84 riders who came to the start. She was a full 9 minutes and 41 seconds behind today’s winner Ingrid Landmark Dental violence and the disappointment was total after the finish.

The uphill came early in the race when Nilsson burned two shots in the first shooting. After that it just went downhill.
– From a distance, you know that if you shoot two misses in the first two series, it is difficult to get a advanced placement, you just have to let it go. But you don’t want to give up. At the same time, it is not the most inspiring, she tells the evening newspaper.
