The former cross-country skier and biathlete Stina Nilsson31, is set for a new season. These days, it’s the long run that matters. After four years of focusing on biathlon, she has changed her training since last spring in order to become the best at the really long distances instead.

Success in the premiere

Already in her long-distance debut, Stina impressed. She ran the Klarälvsloppet, 90 kilometers on roller skis, and beat her competitors in her debut.

– I am so very satisfied. It was real tactical driving from Ramudden. I have ridden and been focused all the way to be able to counterattack, Stina told TV4 after the finish.

– If you have a day like today, it’s just tactically fun games to read and solve. This was the first time this summer that I have run with girls, have only been training with the Ragde guys and Emil (Nykvistboyfriend). A great receipt.

On December 13, the Ski Classics season kicks off in Bad Gastein, Austria. In total, there are 15 competition days until March 30. The Swedish features are Orsa Grönklitt (February 15-16) and Vasaloppet (March 2).

Stina undeniably seems to be ready for the new, exciting season. She is in a great mood and spreads her joy to her followers on Instagram. Recently she posted a picture of a bicycle road sign. It pointed out the Östersund district of Valla, which for a skier is very fun.

“It’s not easy to find the right Valla for roller skis, so not this year,” she writes on the social media platform.

Her funny pun has got people reacting. Many find her dry dad jokes funny.
