Stina Nilsson stranded out in nature while on an excursion

We are used to seeing her on a couple of skis, but Stina Nilsson also uses other means of transport to get on snow.
On Instagram, she shows how she was left alone in the woods when her scooter collapsed.

Before the season changed Stina Nilsson31, Sport for the second time in career. After competing in biathlon for four years, she chose to shift focus and instead invest in long -distance races. Previously, she was a successful cross-country skier who won both the Olympic and World Cup gold.

Stina Nilsson’s own words about the debut season

It has undoubtedly been good for Stina since the switch to long runs. This season she has already managed to take a pallet place on two occasions in Ski Classics. She has also come four twice and five three times.
– I haven’t known anything about where I was standing. Then I dreamed of standing on the podium, but did not know what it is enough. It’s fun to be fought there, she recently told SVT at a press conference.

However, Stina is well aware that she has a lot to work on if she will continue to deliver in the race – and even win any competition in the future.
– I think I’m still in the learning process and come up with new things that I need to improve. I probably haven’t seen all my weaknesses yet, they will probably. I had a lot of respect for Ski Classics because I knew the girls are very strong. I am happy with the summer training, but another summer with training will do good for me. I have some to improve, because I haven’t figured out all my weaknesses yet, she says and continues:
– The girls I compete against have made so many more miles in striking than me.

Stina Nilsson’s mishap in nature

On Wednesday, Stina Nilsson published a number of pictures on Instagram Stories where it emerged that she was alone in nature and that she could not get home. The reason was that the snowmobile she went on had put off all of a sudden.
“Stranded out here on the marsh today due to overheated scooter,” she writes in a first picture.

Then she posted another picture, where she wears emoji sunglasses.
“But there was no need for me,” she writes.
In other words, it doesn’t seem to have been so dangerous for Stina to be “forced” to be out for a couple of hours. In a third picture she is seen drinking coffee and enjoying the sun out in the woods. We can only assume that she found back home later. She is probably not in a hurry, since the next race in the long -running cup (Ski Classics) is not until March 2. It’s the Vasaloppet.
