Stina Nilsson is praised by followers for the new picture with Elvira Öberg – and the hilarious joke: “Göteborgare!”

Stina Nilsson is preparing for a new season.
And she always does it with a twinkle in her eye.
A clever Gothenburg joke now makes the followers laugh.

Stina Nilsson comes from a lead-heavy season where development seemed to go in the wrong direction. Nilsson was initially successful after switching from cross-country skiing to biathlon, and was praised by experts for how quickly she learned.

Heavy season

But during the winter, Nilsson found it difficult to deliver during the many chances in the World Cup, and she was finally poked and had to continue competing in the IBU Cup, which is a level below World Cup competitions. Nilsson was also poked from the Biathlon World Cup, and instead had to focus on the EC.

It was simply not a season to remember for Nilsson, but right now she is in hard preparations for the upcoming season, where she is looking for revenge. Nilsson is a real profile on social media and often shares his everyday life and parts of his training for his followers. And she always does it with a twinkle in her eye and a great deal of humor.

Nice joke

Now she has posted a picture together with large parts of the national biathlon team, and perhaps above all the star Elvira Öberg. The picture was taken after the national team did a running session, and of course Nilsson had to joke about it properly.

“Tough running intervals on the course today. Lucky you didn’t slip,” she writes, followed by a banana emoji.

And of course the followers were impressed – not only by the national team’s hard training, but also by Nilsson’s sly jokes. Among other things, the great pop artist Miss Li answers with lots of hearts.

“You have to come from Gothenburg? Gothenburger!”, writes another user.

“Well done for future victories,” writes another.

“You flew forward at the speed of the world!”, writes a third.
