Stina Nilsson’s miss in the race

Stina has performed surprisingly well in Ski Classics (Långloppscupen) so far. Although she is a debutant, she has ended up on the podium in several competitions during the season. – She must not release right. No, no, says the expert Anders Blomquist.

Stina Nilsson is aware of what went wrong

After the finish, Stina was disappointed with her mistake in the race. For SVT Sport, she talks about her tactical plump. She has subsequently understood what she would have done differently.
– Snowy there at the end that Anikken managed to be smarter than me and take the inside. But one thing I bring with me that I might not solve so good was this with constantly pumping gels. For my brain got a little tough. So kind of that I don’t think fast enough in tight situations and I have to take that with me to be even better at, she says.

Stina explains why she should have taken several gels and more regularly. Hopefully she has now learned from her mistake.
– I think it is that you do not get enough sugar in it, because it is such a long run and it is so high load. I think that with a constant energy intake you become more alert. If you go a little too low you become … you are with you, but you are not quite that you can think so much all the time, she says.

Hello Stina! You are a real fighter who dares to challenge yourself and test new things. Continued good luck with Ski Classics this season.
