The investigation into what is behind the sending of the warning to an unknown number of motorists on Tuesday continues.
– We still don’t know what happened, says Katarina Wolffram, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration. We cannot even say with certainty that the Swedish Transport Administration is the sender.
According to her, several authorities use the same system to send out warnings.
– Everything indicated that it was us, but we can’t even show that it comes from us even if it looks like it does. Right now we are not ruling anything out, says Katarina Wollfram, who assumes that the other relevant authorities are now investigating what has happened in the same way.
