Fewer driving licenses are still being obtained than before the corona pandemic. This is evident from new figures from Statistics Netherlands (CBS). In 2021, 7.8 percent more new driving licenses were issued than a year earlier. This means that 178,000 new car license holders have been added: still almost a quarter less than in the year before the corona crisis.
