The queues and congestion at Arlanda continue. Just before seven on Tuesday morning, the queue time for the security check at terminal 5 is approximately one hour.
– So it will continue to be a few more hours. We have a peak in the morning and one in the late afternoon when there are a lot of people, says Peter Wärring, press officer at Swedavia.
There can also be a lot of people at the check-in counters.
– Check with your airline when check-in opens and try not to arrive at Arlanda too soon, Peter Wärring urges.
Most airlines require their passengers to arrive at the airport two, three hours before departure.
– The traffic outside terminal 5 is flowing as it should. We have not had to redirect any traffic.
