A prototype of an Apple 1 computer from 1976, which was used by Apple founder Steve Jobs, has been sold at auction for the equivalent of nearly seven million kroner.
The prototype was used to demonstrate the computer to the owner of one of the world’s first PC stores in California, according to auction company RR.
– There would be no Apple 1 without this circuit board – it is the holy grail of Steve Jobs and Apple memories, says RR manager Bobby Livingston.
A San Francisco-area collector, who wishes to remain anonymous, made the winning bid of $677,196.
