Sterling back in training after the burglary

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Sterling missed Sunday’s round of 16 victory against Senegal (3–0). This is because he went to England after a burglary at his home.

According to British media, armed intruders broke into Sterling’s home, while his family was in the property, on Saturday night. British police later stated that no one was home at the time of the burglary. Police also said that Sterling discovered that a number of pieces of jewelry, including watches, had been stolen when he returned.

The Chelsea striker flew back to Doha on Thursday.

Midfielder Declan Rice, who missed training earlier this week due to illness, trained for the second consecutive day. In addition, Callum Wilson, who has had a slight muscle tear, took part in the training session.
