What work are you allowed to do?
According to the government, you are only allowed to do odd jobs between the ages of 13 and 15, such as babysitting or washing cars. You can also help with stocking shelves, light, non-industrial work or feeding animals. Picking fruit and vegetables is allowed as long as no pesticides have been used. Factory work or work near machines is taboo for 13, 14 and 15 year olds. Cash register work, lifting and pushing heavy items, work in the catering industry or working as a delivery person is also prohibited. When a young person is sixteen years old, most restrictions disappear. Work with more risk is allowed, but only under supervision. See here more examples.
