Henrik Stenson was in a great gaming mood during the third day’s game in Scandinavian Mixed in Halmstad.
It was a birdie on all three first holes and after two more birdies shortly thereafter, Stenson is in second place, one stroke behind leader Jason Scrivener, Australia, with nine holes left to play in the penultimate round.
Linn Grant overshadows the close duo in third place, one stroke behind Stenson. The Swedish shooting star has made two birdies on the first six holes.
In Scandinavian Mixed, the ladies and gentlemen play in the same competition. The event has Henrik Stenson and Annika Sörenstam as “hosts” and as a host couple, they will hand out the trophy to the winner on Sunday.
Kristoffer Broberg is the third best Swede in sixth place. He is four strokes from the lead after going the day’s first eight holes two strokes under par.
Alex Norén went today’s round on two strokes under par and is in a split 30th place, eight strokes from the lead, when many are still out on the track.
Amateur Ingrid Lindblad, who made a sensation with a fine result in the US Open this week, went through a round on Saturday and can be found further down in the starting field. Currently in shared 38th place.
