Stellantis and its suppliers have committed an initial investment of more than 200 million euros for the production of 4 models.

Tafraoui Factory, covering an area of ​​80 decares, It will have an annual assembly capacity of 90 thousand cars, consisting of 4 models, starting with Fiat 500 and Fiat Doblò. It is aimed to produce 40 thousand units as SKD in 2024. The facility will assemble 90 thousand automobiles, including painting, welding and spotting, by 2026. The project, which created direct employment for 500 people in Algeria in 2023, is aimed to reach 1,200 people by the end of 2024 and 2,000 people by 2026. Additionally, the local supplier ecosystem will create over 1,600 indirect jobs by 2026.
