Stellantis acquires AI company CloudMade

(Finance) – Stellantis acquired the artificial intelligence (AI) framework, machine learning models, and intellectual property rights and patents of CloudMadea developer of intelligent and innovative automotive solutions based on big data.

The acquisition – as an asset deal – will support the medium-term development of STLA SmartCockpit and strengthens the software strategy of
Stellantis profiled in Dare Forward 2030.

The AI ​​framework created by CloudMade, with integrated graphical interfaces, is the industry-leading cloud and software development kit for
the collection and analysis of automotive datasets and has been the point of reference for transforming the on-board experience and mobility into
broader sense in the last ten years.

“Acquiring CloudMade’s pioneering AI capabilities will accelerate our development journey
STLA SmartCockpit and will help us achieve the goals of Dare Forward 2030,” said Yves Bonnefont, Chief Software
Stellantis Officer. “With this adaptable technology and by leveraging our growing connected fleet, we will create intelligent mobility solutions faster and with greater flexibility, to satisfy our customers with the personalization of the in-vehicle experience.”

As part of the acquisition, 44 CloudMade engineers and software developers dedicated to developing AI technology will join
Stellantis.
