Stellantis double digit growth in revenues Confirm guidance

(Tiper Stock Exchange) – Stellantis and aiMotive, a leading developer of advanced artificial intelligence solutions and autonomous driving software, today announced a new agreement for the acquisition of aiMotive by Stellantis.

This acquisition enhances Stellantis’ core autonomous driving and artificial intelligence technology, expands its global talent pool, and enhances the medium-term development of the new STLA AutoDrive platform.

The range of aiMotive technological products is divided into four key areas, in the artificial intelligence and autonomous driving sector: aiDrive: stack with integrated software for autonomous driving; aiData: operations based on artificial intelligence and data tooling; aiWare: expertise and intellectual property for silicon microchips; aiSim: software simulation for the development of autonomous driving.

Stellantis software teams are already developing the three new technology platforms (STLA Brain, STLA SmartCockpit, STLA AutoDrive), which starting from 2024 will be implemented in scale in the four new vehicle platforms (STLA Small, STLA Medium, STLA Large, STLA Frame). The company expects the software strategy to generate approximately €20 billion in incremental annual revenues by the end of the decade, as part of its bold Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, supported by a €30 billion investment in electrification and software.

The aiMotive headquarters are located in BudapestHungary, while offices are located in Germany, USA, Japan, with more than 200 highly skilled employees worldwide, including engineers with expertise in advanced artificial intelligence and autonomous driving. aiMotive will operate as a subsidiary of Stellantis, maintaining its own independence and its startup culture. Founder László Kishonti will remain CEO of aiMotive. He will continue to sell products across the three technology ranges, including aiData, aiSim and aiWare, to other partners.

Stellantis will create a Board of Directors to monitor aiMotive and to preserve its startup logic committed to rapid innovation solutions. The aiMotive team will work hand in hand with the Stellantis teams on autonomous driving and artificial intelligence.

The completion of the acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including compliance with antitrust requirements.
