In “Nyhetsmorgon”, viewers can take part in big and small news events, cooking and artist performances – all under the guidance of an eminent set of presenters.
One of those who have been with the program the longest is Steffo Törnquist. Since the year 2000, he has guided the viewers through various features and segments in the TV4 long-distance driver, which has made him an appreciated profile in the television box, to say the least.

During the decades that Steffo Törnquist has been presenter of Nyhetsmorgon, colleagues have both come and gone and the structure of the program has undergone both one and two changes. An important part of Nyhetsmorgon, which however has remained throughout the years, are the interviews on the programme’s sofas.
And it is precisely the sofas that are now getting a diss from the TV4 veteran.

On Instagram, an attentive TV viewer, in a comment, said that the channel should replace the sofas because Törnquist doesn’t seem to appreciate their design.
“Steffo, can’t TV4 finally arrange some more comfortable sofas instead of the hopelessly low sofas so you can also sit a little comfortably!!”, writes the person, who then receives a short, but to say the least, honest answer from the presenter:
“The sofas are rubbish.”
We’ll simply have to see if TV4 takes the veteran’s feedback to heart and acquires a new couch!
