Nine years ago, Stefan Raab officially said goodbye to his work in front of the camera. Since then, there have been repeated rumors about a possible comeback for the entertainer, who went down in German TV history with shows like TV total and Schlag den Raab. The fire last burned brightly on the long Easter weekend, on which two suspicious teasers appeared on Stefan Raab’s Instagram profile. They not only announced the presenter’s comeback, but also a fight with world boxing champion Regina Halmich.
However, since the second teaser was released on April 1st, many fans and media initially thought the news was an April Fool’s joke. But how now? officially confirmed Stefan Raab will actually return to television – and get into the ring with Regina Halmich.
Stefan Raab competes against Regina Halmich for a third time
Regina Halmich shared a post on Instagram in which she confirmed the fight with Stefan Raab accepted his challenge:

The encounter between Raab and Halmich follows on from the two boxing matches that the presenter and the boxing world champion fought in 2001 and 2007. Both Halmich’s management and the athlete herself have already confirmed the event to other sources. Halmich explained to the dpa (via DWDL):
Yes, you could actually think that it’s an April Fool’s joke, but I’ve already explained on my Instagram page: It’s actually reality. I really got this request as to whether I could imagine taking part in this third show fight, this duel, again. When will the fight between Stefan Raab and Regina Halmich take place?
Stefan Raab will make his TV comeback in the fight with Regina Halmich on September 14, 2024 celebrate. Ticket sales for the live event started today, April 2, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Eventim. However, it is not yet clear which channel the fight will ultimately be shown on. Both ProSieben and RTL are said to have already expressed interest in the transfer.
