Province of Utrecht – In the coming year, grid manager Stedin will be working on the construction of at least 500 stations and the laying of 1300 kilometers of electricity cables. The capacity of the grid must be expanded by 425 megawatts of extra capacity, which is 30 percent more than last year, according to the construction task for 2023. It is all necessary to prevent the explosive growth of charging stations, solar panels, heat pumps and the electrification of the facilitating industry.
