Valve, the makers of Steam, have released a new game without any announcement. But it cannot be found on the in-house platform; instead, it is hidden in another game from the developer.
What kind of game is this? On July 9, Valve released a new game that you can’t just download from Steam. The new title is called Sleet Fighter and is similar to the classic game Street Fighter, and not just in name.
Sleet Fighter by Valve is a 5 character fighting game that can be played in single player as well as online and offline co-op. While the game is fully functional, it is not quite full-fledged, which is due to the way it is played.

How to play Sleet Fighter? Sleet Fighter is part of the Battle Pass of DOTA 2. The playable characters, Marci, Bristleback, Tusk, Vengeful Spirit and Dawnbreaker, all come from the main game. Although Sleet Fighter offers various skills, skins and a whole list of moves, the scope of the title is in no way comparable to its role model Street Fighter.
However, Sleet Fighter is still completely playable and available for free to everyone in DOTA 2. To play, you must first download and install the free DOTA 2 on Steam.
Then start the game and open the “The Glaciers of Icemarch” section from the third act on the start screen. Before you get to Sleet Fighter, you must first fight your way through the story before you get to the “Sleet Fighter 2: Immortal Combat” waypoint. This is located at the first fork on the left.
In the servered Head Pub you can then select a mode and play in single player, multiplayer online and offline. You can find the list of all moves by pressing ESC or F9.
Should the game be expanded? Sleet Fighter and the “DOTA 2” event are currently well received. Valve has therefore decided to extend the event until October. It is still unclear whether Sleet Fighter will disappear forever or whether Valve will continue to work on it. However, there is speculation that the whole thing is just a test to see how players react.
