Steam Game Recording Feature Available
Steam’s Game Recording system offers extensive customization opportunities during recording. With Background Recording, players can save footage to their preferred drive according to the time and storage limits they set. The Replay feature allows players to turn back time and catch up on moments they missed. Additionally, with the new Clips feature, you can turn specific footage into clips and easily share these recordings between Steam Deck, mobile or desktop devices with the Share feature.
Steam also draws attention with the timeline feature added to the Game Recording system. This timeline works in sync with in-game event markers, user-added tags, and game modes, allowing players to easily edit footage. Additionally, with Steam Overlay support, these features work in non-Steam games as well, but only in-game footage is recorded.
