Enshrouded is an exciting new survival MMO currently in development by German studio Keen Games from Frankfurt am Main. Now the developers released a new trailer announcing the release date.
When is Enshrouded released? Starting January 24, 2024, Enshrouded will be available in Early Access on PC. Releases for consoles are planned for the future, more details are not yet known. The Steam store page is already online.
Keen Games presented a demo of Enshrouded as part of the Steam Next Fest, which was particularly well received by players. Co-op survival MMO Enshrouded took Steam Next Fest by storm in October. The game took first place as the most played title at Steam Next Fest. Enshrouded is also one of the most wanted games on Steam.

What can you expect from Early Access? According to Keen Games (via PCGamesN), Enshrouded will offer a comprehensive experience in terms of core gameplay elements in Early Access. The studio plans to improve and expand gameplay features based on community feedback. The world of Enshrouded is also set to be expanded significantly. This includes new biomes to explore, new enemies and new types of locations.
What kind of game is this? Enshrouded is a survival role-playing game that you can enjoy both alone and in co-op mode with up to 16 players. The game offers a mix of exploration, survival and thrilling combat in a medieval setting.
Embervale has been struck by a devastating magical plague and is now in ruins. In this apocalyptic environment, survival is paramount and you are called upon to forge your own destiny.
Your mission is crucial: you must revive the world devastated by the plague. Not only will you be confronted with mutated beasts and dangerous bosses, but you will also be able to build impressive buildings.
These can be designed according to your ideas. A selection of materials and furniture is available to you. You can also use the buildings to provide shelter for NPCs.
But Enshrouded offers much more than just the ability to create impressive buildings. You can also craft your own armor and weapons. Through a skill tree you can develop a unique play style that suits you.
