AOKZOE A1 is getting ready to enter the market with features that rival Steam Deck, which is currently one of the most popular handheld consoles on the market.
Before Steam Deck was released, there was a huge gap in the handheld console. As Steam gets a hand in this niche area, its rivals continue to increase. New competitors are coming quickly to Valve’s handheld, and while the Steam Deck remains one of the most powerful devices in this category, we haven’t seen strong competitors very often. However, this seems to be changing.
AOKZOE A1 is powered by AMD 6800U APU processor
The upcoming AOKZOE A1 looks like it will surpass the Steam Deck in terms of performance as it is equipped with the powerful AMD 6800U APU processor. At this point, AOKZOE seems intent on making its name known. It is claimed that AOKZOE A1, which has a 1920×1200 8-inch screen with a pixel density of 283 PPI, can run Forza Horizon 5 over 100 FPS thanks to the 680M graphics chip. At this point, it should be noted that it is not yet specified whether the display Hz value will be higher than 60 or not.
AOKZOE has yet to reveal the price range of the A1 but says the device will come with at least two different SKUs (stock codes). The A1 Ultimate will have a 65Wh battery and will be heavier than the 48Wh battery of the base model. Some versions of the A1 have 16GB of RAM, while others will come with 32GB, and it’s not clear which models this distinction will be between the A1 and A1 Ultimate. AOKZOE A1 for PC will have all the features and capabilities that handheld gamers have loved so far.

For example, gyroscopic targeting and linear trigger are examples of these. The manufacturer also states that it takes the issue of fast charging into account. While Steam Deck will have Windows support later, AOKZOE A1 will have Windows and SteamOS support from day one.
Although it is clear that the AOKZOE A1 will be an extremely powerful device, it is a question of whether Valve’s Steam Deck will be overshadowed by these devices in the future. Predictions are that the next Steam Deck will feature RDNA 3 technology. Steam Deck’s RDNA 3 technology will put it one step ahead of all its competitors, including the upcoming AOKZOE A1.
AOKZOE A1 launches in July 2022.
