The Marvel Cinematic Universe enters a new era with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. After Doctor Strange 2, Loki and Spider-Man: No Way Home introduced us to the multiverse, here we are with villain Kang (Jonathan Majors) the greatest horror of the Multiverse Saga presents.
You should know before you go to the cinema: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is essential for the next two phases of the MCU. And almost more important is what comes after the end of the film. This is where the MCU tradition of Post Credit Scenes continued and you should not fall straight out of the cinema hall.

The first Ant-Man 3 credits scene introduces the Council of Kangs
In the finale of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the danger seems to have been averted by the conqueror Kang. The Ant family not only prevented the time and space traveling villain from escaping the quantum plane, but defeated him as well. Kang is sucked into his ship’s mutliversal power core and dies. But there is a problem: He was just one of many Kangs.
The first end credits scene takes us to an unknown place beyond time and space. Here we meet three other variants by time traveler Nathaniel Richards, also known as Kang. They are all played by Jonathan Majors.

The three Kangs reveal that a grand council has been convened. In the wake of the death of the variant they banished to the quantum realm, they are forced to act. The Kang Dynasty must step in before any more Kangs are defeated. And now gather for that Thousands of cheering Kang variants in an arena.
We can assume that the events of the 2025 starting Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty to get prepared. In the future, the superheroes of the MCU will have to face not just one, but countless variants of the same villain.
The post-credits scene of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania prepares Loki for Season 2
Anyone who hasn’t had enough of the numerous Kang variants after the first end credits scene should stay seated until the very end. Here follows one Scene directly related to Loki Season 2which is scheduled to start in the summer.

Yes, there’s a reunion with Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and his fellow TVA, Mobius (Owen Wilson). They have traveled into the past and are sitting in the audience at the performance of a certain Victor Timely. This is another alternate version of Kang that Marvel fans will recognize from the comics.
In the comics, a version of Kang travels in the year 1901 back to gain power and influence there under the pseudonym Victor Timely. He builds the city of Timely and develops technologies that should not have existed in this era. We will find out what plan the MCU version is following at the latest with Loki Season 2 on Disney+ in the summer.
