The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that Abu al-Hassan al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, who became the head of Daesh after the death of Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurashi, was also killed.

CENTCOM Spokesman Colonel Joe Buccino said in a written statement, “The death of Abu al-Hasan al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi in mid-October dealt another blow to DAESH. This operation was carried out by the Syrian Free Army in Syria’s Dar’a province. ” used the phrases.
Buccino stated that DAESH continues to be a threat to the region and they are focused on the permanent defeat of the organization. It is not known what the role of the coalition against Daesh was in this attack.
US forces are cooperating with an opposition group called Mugawvir Et-Tavra in the Al-Tanif region, where the borders of Iraq, Syria and Jordan meet. The group had recently changed its name to the “Syrian Free Army”.
Abu Ibrahim al-Hashimi al-Qurayshi, who succeeded the first leader of Daesh, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was killed in February in an operation by US special forces in northwest Syria. (AA)
