Turkey’s first manned spaceflight is just hours away. The rocket carrying Alper Gezeravcı will be launched into space at 00.49 tonight. The launch for the first manned space mission in the history of the Republic will be carried out from the US state of Florida.
STATEMENT FROM SPACEX
The launch, which was planned to be held yesterday, was postponed to today due to technical reasons. A statement came from Spacex before the launch at 00.49.
“THE WEATHER IS 80 PERCENT FAVORABLE”
In the statement made hours before the flight, it was said, “Our systems look good. The weather is 80 percent suitable for the realization of the Ax-3 mission.”
