Statement from Mitsotakis after the meeting with President Erdoğan! ‘I said it clearly’

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis made a statement after his meeting with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the Türkevi on the margins of the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) held in New York, USA.

According to İHA, Mitsotakis stated that they had a productive meeting with President Erdoğan, accompanied by Foreign Ministers and diplomatic advisors, and said, “We agreed to continue working to deepen the positive climate established in Greece-Turkey relations in recent months. “We have clearly determined the level of contacts and meetings for the coming period in terms of political dialogue, confidence-building measures, as well as supporting the positive agenda,” he said.

On the other hand, in the news in the Greek press, Mitsotakis said, “I said unequivocally that I wanted to find a solution to the Cyprus problem. Greece will simply not accept the idea and discussion of a two-state solution policy outside the decisions taken by the United Nations Security Council. “I had the opportunity to say this today in my meeting with President Erdoğan,” he said.
