Minister of Defense Gallant made evaluations regarding the air and ground attacks against the blockaded Gaza Strip.

Noting that Israeli forces engaged in intense clashes with Palestinian resistance in Gaza, Gallant stated that the Israeli army “attacked Gaza city from both the south and north and entered residential areas.”
“WE WILL REMOVE YAHYA SİNVAR”
Stating that the “Hamas leadership” was responsible for the attacks against Israel on October 7, Gallant said: “We will reach Yahya Sinvar (the leader of Hamas in Gaza) and eliminate him. “If the Gazans reach him before us, it will shorten the war.” he said.
Claiming that “At the end of the war, there will be no Hamas left in Gaza”, the Israeli Minister said, “Israel and the USA are working in coordination on this issue. “There will no longer be a security threat to Israel from Gaza, and Israel will have absolute freedom of action to take whatever security measures it wishes against anyone who raises his head in Gaza.” he said.

Gallant noted that his country “does not intend to go to war with Hezbollah”, but that the Israeli Air Force is ready against any possible developments.
Gallant said that if Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah “makes a mistake” and decides to go to war, he will “determine the fate of Lebanon.”
