Utrecht – Maarten van Ooijen is not on the list of candidates of the Christian Union for the upcoming House of Representatives elections. The outgoing State Secretary for Health, Welfare and Sport (VWS) and former councilor in Utrecht has withdrawn in his own words to provide space for candidates from elsewhere in the country or with knowledge of other subjects.
