In the statement made by the Texas State Military Department, it was announced that 10 M113 type armored personnel carrier vehicles will be deployed to the Mexican border by the national guard in a short time, and air-supported security operations in the region have been increased. The Military Department stated that they had to take extraordinary measures for border security as the illegal immigration at the border reached record levels. It was stated that 50 military personnel were assigned to armored vehicles.
