For the upcoming release of Starfield for PC, AMD is collaborating with Bethesda to help deliver the game optimized for Radeon and Ryzen hardware. There will also be limited production of a dedicated Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card and Ryzen 7 7800X3D processors.
Outside of the custom packaging, there is very little visual customization for the CPU. Equipped with white and primary color accents, this card features a new version of Bethesda’s sleek and robust reference design with many references to the sci-fi RPG.
Only 500 will be produced
AMD and Bethesda will only produce 500 of these stylish GPUs and CPUs. Due to limited production, we expect these to be distributed through contests and other promotions. Because it will not be available for sale in retail stores. The Starfield Radeon and Ryzen combo was announced at QuakeCon 2023. While the Ryzen 7 7800X3D probably only includes Starfield-themed packaging, it’s a shame the eye-catching custom Radeon RX 7900 XTX isn’t making it to retail shelves. It’s compatible with the limited number of stylish Starfield Xbox controllers you can get, and it would be really cool to have a white theme with this card.
With AMD teaming up with Bethesda to release it for PC and Xbox Series X|S, the game will include a number of optimizations for both Radeon and Ryzen hardware. It will also feature AMD’s FSR 2 scaling and multi-threaded CPU support. The Starfield game is expected to be released on September 6, 2023 without any glitches.
