What is Starfield? A new sci-fi RPG from Bethesda and the developer studio’s first new game universe in more than 20 years. It follows in the footsteps of gaming giants like Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim or Fallout 4, but brings with it its very own charm.
Starfield is coming to PC (Steam / Xbox app) and Xbox Series X|S, but not PS5 – although it almost became a PlayStation exclusive.
How much does Starfield cost? The Standard Edition starts at $69.99 on PC and $79.99 for Xbox Series. However, Starfield will also be included in the Xbox Game Pass for the release. Check all information about the editions here.

5 tips for a relaxed start in Starfield

What is there to know about the download? You need around 125 GB for the download and Starfield’s system requirements require an SSD hard drive.
The preload is already online in the Xbox app (PC) and on the Sbox Series. Players on Steam have to wait until August 30th, but can also download before the release: all information about the preload.
What can you do in Starfield? If you know one of the big Bethesda games like Skyrim, you can roughly expect something similar: a lot of freedom, a lot of exciting stories and huge areas to explore.
You create a character and head out into space with your ship. The shipbuilding should also play a big role and you can also hire companions and crew members.
