gamescom 2023 started today with the Opening Night Live. The event opened with an emotional live-action trailer of the new space role-playing game Starfield.

After a piano interlude, Starfield presented a new trailer for his space role-playing game. It shows how an astronaut returns from his journey through space and gives his badge to an enthusiastic child.

In the trailer, viewers also get a glimpse into the astronaut’s interstellar journey as he must maneuver through an asteroid field while pursuing another ship and exploring a mysterious cave.

This gives the viewers a small foretaste of the feeling of the single-player role-playing game Starfield, which promises the players a galactic journey through endless freedom and 1,000 planets to be visited.

When is Starfield coming out? On September 6, 2023, Starfield will have its grand release and will be released for the platforms PC, Steam and Xbox Series X/S.

The game’s Early Access will begin on September 1, 2023.
