In Starfield, your appearance is not final. If you don’t like your nose, stature or even your hairstyle, these can easily be adjusted later in various systems. We’ll show you how you can change your appearance.
Where can I change my appearance? To change your appearance afterwards, you need to visit one of the many Enhance! shops that you can find in different cities. They use colorful advertisements to advertise that their technicians can change anyone’s appearance quickly and painlessly.
You can find a shop in New Atlantis, the city in the Alpha Centauri system. To do this, go to the business district. Once there, take the path to the left past the large fountain and look for the entrance to the Enhance! studio.
You can find another shop in the former fishing town “Neon” in the “Volii” system on the planet “Volii Alpha”. To do this, walk along the shopping mile and look again for the large, brightly lit Enhance! advertisement.
Now go in and talk to the employees. After you pay for the service, you can change your appearance.

Changing the appearance later – costs and what can be changed
What can be customized? At Enhance! Studios you can change everything for your astronaut except your background and characteristics.
Everything from your face, running style, gender, hair, body type to your name can be changed and readjusted.
How much does the change cost? The service from Enhance! is not free. If you visit one of the shops, the employees will ask you to pay the price of 500 credits before you start. However, compared to other goods and services sold in Starfield, 500 credits is a cheap investment.
If you have few credits and still want to change your appearance, save before the procedure to prevent errors. This way you can take your time and experiment with your look. If things go wrong, you still have your save with the 500 credits in your pocket, which you can then fall back on.
